Leadership

Bill Johnson and Jerry Eatherly founded Technology Concepts & Design, Inc. (TCDI®) in 1988 with a focus on software development and data management in highly complex and secure environments for the U.S. Government. Today, TCDI has two distinct divisions: Commercial and Federal Solutions.  

Commercially, TCDI is recognized as a leader in the litigation software market, serving many Fortune 500 companies and AmLaw 200 law firms who operate in some of the most complex eDiscovery and case management environments in the world.

The Government Systems Division approaches a quarter century of service providing innovative technical solutions and process improvements to support agency mission and initiatives.

Client-Driven Technology

Over the course of TCDI's 20+ year history, clients have played an active role in the development of our proprietary software systems. This cooperative approach has resulted in sophisticated levels of automation as well as flexible and highly customizable applications. While some vendors are forced to work through layers of red tape in order to make product enhancements, and others find themselves married to various technologies that prove limiting over time, we empower clients by enabling them to influence product direction. We believe clients should be the ones driving technology ... not the other way around.

Security

Many of TCDI's clients are involved in complex and highly sensitive litigation involving millions of documents and sometimes terabytes of data. Therefore, TCDI's technical infrastructure and Tier-3 Data Center are designed accordingly. We offer high levels of data security without compromising on system speed, performance or scalability.

Flexibility

Technology is advancing at a breakneck pace and we believe clients should have the freedom to take advantage of industry improvements if and when they choose. Unlike other providers who are tied to embedded technologies, TCDI’s solutions are modular with integration points that enable a highly adaptable approach to leveraging a broad range of applications and capabilities. This flexibility gives clients the freedom to incorporate those technologies which are best suited for their unique processes as well as to the project at hand.

Responsiveness

One of TCDI’s first major litigation support clients remains a key client today, more than 14 years after the relationship began.
